Chinese Sticks

A masterpiece of magic. There are many kinds of Chinese Sticks on the market, this superior version has smooth working and attractive design.

The magician shows two Chinese Sticks to the audience.

A string with a tassel hangs from each of the two sticks, one string being longer than the other.

By pulling downwards on the shorter string, the magician demonstrates that the long string becomes shorter and vice versa, as if the strings were joined together.

He then separates the front ends of the sticks to show there is no connection, making the audience believe the strings pass around the other ends.

The magician now completely separates the sticks and still the strings interact with each other, through empty space!
