The Haunted Pack

This is one of the most outstanding effects to be seen with a pack of cards and yet it is very simple to perform.

The performer shows a pack of cards to be all different and then has a card selected which is remembered by the spectator and then returned to the pack. The performer rests the cards on his upturned palm and asks the spectator to concentrate on the card.

Suddenly the cards slowly cut themselves in a strange way, they square themselves up again leaving one card protruding from the pack.

The performer takes out the protruding card to show that it is the selected one!
